One of the most useful tools you can have on a Mac

If you have a large screen display, then this app will save you time and frustration. This functionality exists in Windows 7 (and up) and should definitely be a part of OSX. Thanks to Misage for making such an easy to use and fantastic solution.

Divvy makes it easy to set up shortcuts for most any window combination and easily arrange the windows. I use Option-Command-[left arrow] to move windows to the left 50% of the screen, Option-Command-[right arrow] to move windows to the right side of the screen, and Option-Command-[up-arrow] to make the window take up 100% of the screen.

The best way to learn this program is to watch the video at the developers website. Spending 5 minutes there will pay huge dividends.
