This app helps so much at managing windows, I can’t live without it anymore. It’s _the_ complementary app to OS X, don’t hesitate for a second for buying it!

This is definitly a feature missing from Mac OS
application is great but after a reboot on El Capitan 10.11.1 (15B42) Divvy doesn’t start even if I open it.
Ele deveria ser um recurso nativo do OS, excelente! It should be a native resource on OS, excellent!
Suddenly stopped working on my computer (el capitan)
The missing window manager for OSX - a small utility which I use during my daily work. Small and simple and a great helpfull tool.
I am using Divvy since a while now and i dont ever want miss it anymore. The Application is feature-rich, the support is excellent and the developers react very fast. The offer to switch from the "normal version" to the App Store with the refund was a great idea and i can only urge everyone to give this great piece of software a try. I use it in combination with my Magic Trackpad and a touch-gesture via BetterTouchTool and honestly, it cannot get any better...
I am happy to have this app, i tried some alternatives, but none of them are working so good and having such a fast support as DIVVY. price is quite high, but when it comes to counting seconds while working and dragging, you always want to pay this and not dragging by the mouse. great peace of software, i hope youll keep it good as it is
I didnt know how much I needed Divvy until I got it. Take the time to setup some shortcut keys - definitely worth it.
Fastest way to manage windows, quick, intuitive, and easy to setup.
Window management has barely changed in 30 years. Features like Spaces really come into their own when you can set up a separate workspace in each. Divvy makes it window placement effortless. Its so intuitive, you dont even think about it. Only when setting up a new computer did I realize how much I miss Divvy. Stop cursing at your mouse and instead Divvy up your screen.
I have been recommended this app by a friend and am extremely satisfied that it solves all my issues. I have bought an external monitor recently and resizing windows became a daily chore when plugging it in, a chore Divvy makes SO much easier. The only thing Id ask for is to detect resolutions used on monitors and adjust the grid accordingly, so for 1080p monitors have 16:9 grid automatically, 4:3 for 1024x768 etc... Love it, well worth the money!
Once you have this configured with hotkeys its a wicked app, works great for managing windows at common sizes you need and no more navigating to the corner to size your windows, Divvy makes windows resizing very simple!
This app should just come pre-built with all future future versions of OSX..
WOW!!! I love this app. Always hated the green button at the top and always found myself manually resizing things and switching between two monitors. now I can just hit a few shortcuts after enabling global shortcut and Im in business. I have shortcuts for vertical left, right, horizontal top, bottom, middle and full screen. I put global shortcuts because I dont want the little divvy window popping up at me all the time so this way I just hit the key I want anytime and it resizes the window for me and switches to my secondary monitor if I want by repressing the same shortcut key. totally worth the money!!!! Keep up the good work. I also recommend cinch.
One of my biggest peeves of working on a mac is the windows manager. There is no easy way to resize windows (except from the lower right corner) or to tile them like you can on MS windows. Divvy removes the pain and makes it so much easier to work with multiple windows at once.
I was already extremely familiar with Window management apps, and this one stole my heart instantly: best in class. It’s like the developers were reading my mind and knew every single thing that ever annoyed me about the limitations and quirks of every competing app. It’s truly remarkable how nice it is to have this power over my windows. I must be very easily amused ... ;-)
This program is so handy now that many people are running huge displays. Im on the 27" Imac and to take advantage of the resolution I need a simple way to manage multiple windows in one screen. This program does just that and works well with most types of windows; however, this Divvy cannot control Adobe Creative Suite products such as: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Dreamweaver—even with the Application Frame option activated—Bridge, Distiller for example. Im not sure about Premiere Pro, After Effects or Soundbooth cause I dont have them installed right now. Acrobat X works fine. If Divvy could control Creative Suite apps when the Application Frame option is running, I could run 4 CS5.5 apps at once on one screen—or two on my main display and two on my secondary display—which would be so handy. Please try to make this work and you have the best program ever!
I gave it 4 star only because its bit pricy. If you can afford this price for a window manager. Look no further.
I consider it one of mi essential apps. It is a bit pricey, but its well built and simple to use.
